CJ Kenney is Assistant Vice President, Human Resources at Nassau Financial Group. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, CJ fills both leadership and HR generalist responsibilities, helping manage and direct the HR team, programs and policy direction, along with administrative and operational needs. She also has significant hands-on responsibilities for talent management and development, recruitment, employee relations, and compensation.
CJ joined Nassau in 2018 and has been a key driver in Nassau Financial Group’s fast-changing and expanding Human Resources function. Prior to joining Nassau, CJ spent time in the retail and energy industries in a human resources capacity. She holds a Professional in Human Resources (HRCI) certification, a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Outside of work, CJ has been a youth ice hockey coach, mentor, and leader with the CT Northern Lights Girls Hockey out of Simsbury, CT, since graduating from college 10 years ago. She continues to be a resource and mentor to the players through college and as they start their careers.
